4 chicken thighs
4 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
4 pearl onions, quartered

1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
2. Coat chicken thighs with marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
3. Preheat a pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
4. Place chicken thighs in the pan and cook for 5 minutes on each side until browned.
5. Lower the heat to medium, add pearl onions around the chicken, and cover the pan. Cook for another 20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and onions are tender.
6. Serve hot.
