2 cloves garlic, minced

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, and sugar.
3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, and brush them with olive oil.
4. Pour the balsamic mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
6. Serve the salmon with the glaze from the baking dish spooned over the top.
