Broccoli and Parmesan Pasta

300g pasta
1 head broccoli, cut into florets
50g parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
2. In the last 3 minutes of the pasta cooking, add broccoli florets to the boiling water.
3. While pasta and broccoli are cooking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
4. Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving some pasta water.
5. Toss the pasta and broccoli in the pan with garlic, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve the desired sauce consistency.
6. Remove from heat and stir in the grated parmesan cheese.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
